GLACIER BAY NATIONAL PARK, minimum 5 days
Enjoy your spectacular private cruise into Glacier Bay National Park. We will enter Glacier Bay National Park with our exclusive private permit, awarded to only 15 charter operators statewide for the next ten years. Glacier Bay is a natural resource brimming with glaciers, glacial ice tidepools, spectacular scenery and wildlife. Limited vessels are allowed into the Bay each day so you feel as if you have it all to yourself! Want to see brown and black bears up close? How about whales so close you can see the barnacles and scratches on their backs? Don't forget the moose, otters, eagles, porpoise, and much more. We will spend the night in secluded coves in the Bay and inbetween viewing glaciers and exploring on the ice, we can saltwater halibut fish and fresh water trout and salmon fish! This awesome trip into the Park is included with trips of 5 nights or more. Call for more details.

CRUISING & FISHING:
Leave Auke Bay in Juneau and cruise to Icy Straits while viewing whale, bears, otters, eagles and more! Pull dungeness crab pots within 3 hours of our departure, cook them on the dock and start eating...someone's got to do it! Get in an extra half day of unadvertised fishing (for Coho/Silvers or King/Chinooks) on your first day along Home Shore. We'll run to Excursion Inlet, an old WWII POW camp now operating as a fish processing plant. Stroll along the dirt runway where small planes land to bring in the mail and groceries...there's usually a bear or two wandering the area. Spend the night in a secluded cove offering spectacular scenery and drop the crab pots again while we sleep.

The next day, after we pull the crab pots and cook our catch, takes us into Glacier Bay National Park. See the details above regarding Glacier Bay which will also take us for a brieft visit to the Lodge and Headquarters of the Bay, and an optional easy one-mile walk through the Rain Forest. We will customize your trip in Glacier Bay according to your desires to view glaciers.

When we leave the Bay, we will cruise to Point Adolphus and photograph the humpback and killer whales while they play, spout and breach, right in front of your eyes. More fishing if you like. Spend another night in a secluded cove.

Watch for brown and black bears as you cruise to Pelican, a quaint village built on a boardwalk only accessible by boat or float plane. Stroll the boardwalk and visit world-famous Rosie's Bar. Fish in Lisianski Inlet on the way to Pelican. This trip is not complete without an overnight stop to Elfin Cove, another boardwalk village known for its beauty and world-class fishing!

Explore the shores of Cross Sound and Yakobi Island where Mt. Fairweather is visible on clear days. Fish for monster halibut, King Salmon, Cohos and Ling Cod. Spend the last night in the Native village of Hoonah, or secluded Swanson Harbor before returning to Juneau.
